I just don't think the whole conversation about women as a group and how they should be lifting because it would make them hotter or whatever is a useful one. The Kinovea software was used to measure the kinematic parameters of take-off in. It all depends on exactly how they train and how they eat and how those things interact with their genetics. Though some of them will look like AlisonNYC, some will look like a fitness model, and some will look like a bodybuilder. The point is that most women are not going to look like AlisonNYC or some fitness model because they started lifting, just like they probably aren't going to look like a bodybuilder. I've heard that comment from women who are already bulky on account of being fat and would almost certainly improve their physiques if they lifted weights.Д«ut it's this 'Look women, this is what will happen when you lift!' stuff that bothers me, along with the stupid conversation about everybody's body ideals that always accompanies it. In my experience 'not wanting to get bulky' is usually a bullshit excuse from people who don't want to work hard. In the context of a specific situation I think the conversation can make sense.
